Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Region provides caring mentors to children all over the Philadelphia area. We interviewed Malcolm Jenkins and Rodney McLeod of the Philadelphia Eagles to talk about their experiences being a “Big” and how enriching it’s been for them and the youth that they mentor. They are both recipients of the Defenders of Potential Award, recognizing individuals making outstanding efforts to improve social justice and their communities. Their stories hope to inspire others to join and become a Big too.
